Best fajitas in town, the food is excellent no questions ask but in the last couple of weeks the service has gotten horrible I don’t know why I talked with my coworkers and all of them feel the same way, they agreed that the food is great but the servers even tough we always tip nicely isn’t getting any better. I hope these change soon because every where else you find better service but the food at antigua is the best.

Food was terrific! Been here many, many times over the years. Food always very good! I tried to ignore this but always try to publish fair and honest reviews. So to be fair. .. here goes. When dining here with my husband or with a group including a least one man. Waitresses have always been very attentive. When I dine with another lady or group of ladies or alone, waitresses have been very unattentive. Everytime! Takes awhile (to the point that I'm about to leave ) before getting a menu, or drink order. Food is then quickly served as always. It's delicious as always. Although our glasses have always been left empty. Then the waitresses don't return until we're getting up to leave. Generally never bring the bill to the table, unless a man is dining.

We drove down from Houston for the day. Got hungry and saw this place and decided to try it out. The inside is clean and the waiter was nice. He brought out the chips and salsa and that was pretty good. We ordered and a short time passed when we got our food. I will say that the food was awesome. The enchiladas are spot on and carne guisada is like none I have ever had. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable! If and when I’m back down here I will definitely eat here again.

Beware before you overfill yourself on the delicious chips and salsa, the dinner plates are huge! That didn't seem to stop us though because once you take your first bite it is real hard to stop. I had the El guero plate which included a crunchy beef taco, a cheese enchilada (which is real cheddar cheese not Velveeta), and chicken fajitas with guacamole, beans and rice. We found this place on a drive back from Port Aransas to Houston. It will now become a regular stop to and from the beach!
